The Story of the Life of
Doris Alicia Brevard

Doris Alicia Brevard was born July 23, 1959 to the late Juan
Antonio Gonzalez and Doris Alicia Caraballo Gonzalez in
Paramus, NJ. Doris was educated in Hackensack Public
Schools, graduating from Hackensack High School in 1977.
She furthered her education in technology and was later
employed by United Parcel Service (UPS) for 18 years before
retiring. After retiring from UPS, she was employed by
Staples as a Print and Marketing Supervisor.

Doris was a God-fearing woman who donated her time to the
community to several charities. She loved life, travel, and
music. When people saw Doris, they mostly recognized her
for her beautiful smile. Some of Doris’ hobbies included
reading and writing poetry. Before her health began to
decline, she was in the process of writing a book.

She loved being around family, taking care of her family, going
to BBQs and house parties, listening to old-school music, and
dancing the night away. She definitely loved and lived her life
to the fullest! Doris was smart, kind, loved, and cherished by
all that knew her. She was a little sassy, but she would say she
got that from her beloved aunt, Haydee Melendez.

Along with her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her
brother, Juan Antiono Gonzalez, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Anjoli Nikia
Susanna (Jose’, Jr.); her sons, Kiela and Khali Brevard; her
sons’ father, Saul Brevard; sister, Anna Wilson; brothers,
Ibrahiam Gonzalez (Martha), Edwin Gonzalez (Adwlda); 2
grandchildren, Gavis Kidd and Jose’ Susanna, II; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and other relatives.-
