Obituary of Barbara Hamilton

Please share a memory of Barbara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Good morning everyone most of you may know me, but for those of you who don’t know, my name is Yonice Chambers-Bryce, I am Barbara’s niece and its my honor to share my thoughts about her with you today. The late Barbara Hamilton aka ‘’Auntie Bhabz’’ has left behind her beloved family, her two kids; Sireca and Ricardo Gregory; Her mother, Loretta Young, her sisters; Yvette, Sandra, Avis, Pauline, Janice and Delesa, Her bothers; Danny, Hubert and Chubby, Her two lovely grand children, Janiah and Johmar, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended families and friends. Im Sure all of you here agree with me when I say Barbara Hamilton was a great woman. Barbara was born Barbara Elaine Hamilton on July 24, 1959 to Loretta Young and Jocelyn Hamilton. She was raised in the community of Trench Town St. Andrew, while she was enjoying life in her early 20’s she met a tall dark handsome young man who goes by the name of Stanford Gregory and together they have two wonderful children whos name was Sireca Gregory and Ricardo Gregory. But unfortunately, on June 6, 2008. Mr. Stanford died leaving Barbara and his children behind. Barbara Hamilton migrated to the United State in the mid 90’s with her two kids, Sireca and Ricardo, were she loved Queens, New York after a year living in Queens, she moved to Morristown, New Jersey closer to her family and friends. Barbara got a job as a ticket collector at a parking lot, after that she started working at the Morristown Medical Center, there she worked as an Environmental Aide as time passes by, she gained a lot of loving friends. Barbara was a kind, caring and loving person and she was always smiling, she had a smile that will illuminate everyone’s heart, she loved her family and whenever she has days off she always try to visit all her family and friends. Barbara loved children, most of all her grand kids, nieces and nephew. Barbara loved to babysit even if they weren’t related to her, she was also like a kindergarten teacher, she liked to teach kids to read. She was always a giver even if it was her last, she will give it to make sure you were happy. As I stand here today, I say to you these words from my heart ‘’for with God nothing is impossible if we as a family can put trust in God we can and will get through any obstacle, while on this journey called life, we all have learn to accepted the challenges and and disappointments that it comes with and remember to smile when you are sad and love and appreciate what you have, learn to forgive, use your mistake as an example to do better and to move forward in life because time waits for no man on this journey called life”
