Please share a memory of Tiffani to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Statement of Life Tiffani Rae Greene was born on Monday, January 7, 1974 to Robin Greene and the late Michael Reed and was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Tiffani was educated in the East Orange School District. Upon graduation, she attended Bloomfield College where she earned her B.A. degree in Psychology. Although Robin was her birth mother, the essence of who she was, was due in part to “Mommy and Daddy,” her grandparents Catherine and Nelson Greene. She was a shy little girl but God gave her a colossal voice. At an early age, Tiffani could sing a song like no other. As a child, Tiffani joined and was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church. She was an active member of Calvary- singing in the Sunbeam and Chancel Choir, attending Sunday School and eventually becoming the Choir Director for the Voices of Faith. Even though she shied away from the spotlight, God enabled her to share her light with so many. After graduating from Bloomfield College, Tiffani relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she did mission work for Young Life Mission. She later worked for Hospice of Northern Virginia. Tiffani encouraged you, inspired you, made you laugh and most importantly informed you that it was Jesus and Jesus alone. Tiffani possessed exceptional administrative skills. She could organize, strategize, and work things out effectively and efficiently all the while mixing in a little bit of her sarcasm. Tiffani was raised in a God fearing household where it was all for one and one for all…The Greene’s of “100” Hollywood Avenue. Very rarely would you see one without the other. God’s call on her life through music led her to Messiah Baptist Church where she became Minister of Music. Tiffani required nothing less than excellence when singing in service of the Lord. In rehearsals she would all but throw her shoe at you and if you couldn’t find your note, she would find one for you. And once you found it, she was hold that right hand up for you to hold that your note until you literally thought that you would pass out. Even though her health was never 100 percent, she gave 110 percent knowing only what we do for Christ will last. She put it all in His hands. This and that, this this and that that, yes I put it all, yes I put it all, I put it all in His hands. On Sunday, September 6, 2020 Jesus said, “I have a spot that no one can fill but you.” She departed this earth to enter into eternity with her Lord and Savior. Tiffani leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Rev. Robin Greene-Webb (Helper); sister, Tina N. Greene; aunt, Phyllis M. Johnson (Squirrel); uncle, Nelson (Carolyn) W. Greene, Jr.; special cousin, Nelson “Mickey” Greene; her extra special nephew, “Jordo” who she affectionally called her boss; a friend but more like a brother, Nathaniel Lewis; and a host of family and special friends. I’ll see you again, where the sun is always shining I’ll see you again, where sorrows are no more Where we’ll join hands together and we’ll sing around the throne Can’t hardly wait till the day, I’ll see you again
