Obituary of Ajayi Joseph Adekolu

Please share a memory of Ajayi to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mr. Ajayi Joseph Adekolu was born on February 27, 1969 into the family of the Late Chief Amos Adekolu and Late Madam Florence Omomeji in Owo, Ondo state of Nigeria, West Africa. He started his elementary education at St. Martins primary school, he also attended New church Grammar school for his secondary School level both in Owo local government, Ondo State of Nigeria. After his secondary education, he moved to Lagos for greener pastures. He joined one of his uncles in clearing and forwarding business. He was doing well in that profession. In 2002, Mr. Ajayi Adekolu got married to his heart throb Mrs. Sherry Olayemi, their marriage was blessed with children. Mr. Ajayi was a devoted Christian, he gave his life to Christ in 2009 and was baptized in the Redeemed Christian Church of God back in Nigeria. During his lifetime, Mr. Adekolu was the chairman of Redeemers Men's Fellowship, Master Key Zonal Headquarters, LP 57 from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, he left the shore of Nigeria with his family to the United State of America, he resided there until he answered the call of Almighty God. Within the limit of his resources in each given situation, one is confident to say or declare that he was instinctively humanistic and generous. He would not withhold his candid views on issues and questions which are searching for answers. His life was well spent for the short period he spent on Earth. Whenever the Almighty God is calling, no mortal power can withhold, William Shakespeare said; ......Among all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems most strange that man should fear death; knowing full well that it is a necessary end, it will come when it will come. He passed into glory on 25th August 2020. Ajayi fair thee well among the saints triumphant at the bosom of Jesus. We bow to your trumpet call confirmed by Ps 116:15 which says "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints" SLEEP ON! We shall meet to part no more on the resurrection morning.
