Reflections of Life

On December 1, 2005 K’Zure “KK” Credle was born in Paterson, New Jersey to Tyria McDaniel and Eric Credle. K’Zure was given the nickname “KK” by his family and “Drillz” by his friends.  K’Zure earned his wings on October 6, 2019. KK was excited about his upcoming 14th birthday in December. He asked his mother countless times to buy him a Nike sweat suit for his birthday. He attended Public School 6 where he loved to play drums in the school band. As a new 8th grader, he attended Public School 30 and looked forward to his 8th grade prom. He made plans for his fashion, the car he wanted to arrive in and the possibility of taking a date.  He aspired to attend Passaic County Technical High School in Wayne, NJ. He was so anxious he stayed up one late night to complete the application. His determination was never a question. When he put his mind to something, he was going to do it.

K’Zure envisioned himself being a music producer or a big-time sports agent one day. He was thrilled about basketball this year, he told his friends, “you guys are the stars on the court, and I’ll be your agent off the court.”  Making beats and music came natural to him, he produced beats and his cousins were happy to be his singers. KK was an extrovert, always social, mastering video games and what was most important to him was playing outside with his cousins and friends. KK and his cousins were very close. They called themselves “Four Pieces to the Puzzle.” His cousins want him to know that he will always be an important piece to their puzzle. One piece is missing, but never be forgotten.

K’Zure was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother; Bernice Jones.

K’Zure leaves to cherish his memories his parents; Tyria McDaniel of Paterson, NJ and Eric Credle of Brooklyn NY,  grandfathers; Tyrone Graham and Evertte Credle, grandmothers; Rose Marie Graham, Tara McDaniel and Alicia Reid, aunts; Tishell Jackson, Lena Robinson, Quasheema Majette, Noreen Graham, Yolanda Graham, Dominique Graham, Shacara McDaniel, Lakisha Reid and Anastasia McCaskill, uncles;  Tyrone Robinson, Kiko Smith, Born Islam Graham, Imiere McDaniel, Kurshi McDaniel, Fondae McDaniel, Tyquan Cherry, Antione Taylor and Jamell Reid, godfather; Harrold Jacobs, godmother; Nakira Tucke, godbrothers; Nasmeir Richardson and Yaquin Perry, and 4 best friends.

Special Family; Morissa Jackson, Lashawn Davis, “Grandmom” Yakeenan, Gee and Tucker family, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

KK,

Your life shall not have been stolen in vain!  We will always remember the beats you created, the songs you loved, and your smile. You blessed your mom daily and the rest of the world by using music to uplift which brought joy to our lives as well as others.  We cry out and are lead into righteousness, by your example and wisdom guided by your angel wings and halo.  It pains our hearts to see that you are no longer physically here with us.  We pray for understanding as we are in awe of the conundrum that has befallen on our family and friends.  We are speechless at times, filled with racing thoughts and memories, which hold your voice and smile like a video. We pray that you are producing the beats and the angels are swaying.  We pray that you are at peace walking through the golden gates with your Great Grandmother holding out her arms as you cross over into Heavens Kingdom.  Although you were taken from us at the age of 13, we received more from you than you’ll ever know.   Your words, beats, smile, cool swag, fashion, all around style and jokes are forever imprinted within our minds.  We will continue to pray for wisdom and peace of mind.  Know that we will provide nurturance, protection, hugs of love, shoulders to lean and cry on for your mom and the rest of the family. Know that you will be forever loved and held in the highest regards within our hearts. Continue to make heavenly beats, give us guidance and most importantly have fun in Heaven. We love you KK may God be with you forever. “Rest and Peace” —Love the Family
