Obituary of Rolanda A. Tosone-Bonaby

Rolanda Antoinette Tosone-Bonaby was born December 9,1957 in Newark, N.J; the first and only child born to Barbara and Anthony Tosone.

In 1975, Rolanda graduated from Arts High School in Newark. Upon graduation, she went on to attend TWA’s distinguished flight attendant school, where she completed her certification in 1978.

After traveling the world and working some years as a flight attendant, Rolanda then served as a makeup consultant for Saks Fifth Avenue at The Mall at Short Hills in Millburn, N.J., where she sold merchandise for luxury cosmetics brands and counseled customers on beauty products and regimen.

Rolanda also worked in the trauma center at Hackensack University Medical Center, where she helped receive patients and fielded phone calls. She retired from this position several years later.

In 1996, Rolanda married Tyrone Bonaby; a native of the Bahamas.

She attended Clearview Baptist Church in Newark, N.J.

Rolanda is survived by her mother, Barbara Tosone; father, Anthony Tosone; uncle, Anthony Tosone; husband, Tyrone Bonaby and a host of other relatives and loved ones.

Rolanda was greatly beloved by all and will be very dearly missed.
