Cory Demond Mason “AKA” Mecca – “AKA” Mecca Don was born at Flushing Hospital in Queens, NY.

Cory was raised in Corona, NY for most of his life by his maternal grandmother “Eloise Mason.”

Cory was the eldest son born to his mother “Brenda Mason.”  He lived in Corona as a youth where he went to P.S. 143 and then he moved on to PS 127 in East Elmhurst.  Those who knew Cory as a young adult may label him as a “Free Spirit.” He was always on the move in search for excitement as he lived his life as an adult in the streets of Harlem, New York where his mother had found a home as well.   Cory loved his mom and craved to be near her in Harlem, NY.  Along his journey Cory found love and out of the union from the relationship with DESI –  a beautiful daughter was born (Quamonique H. Offley 22) & then his love Ebony, out of which their son, (Aaron Dozier, 22), was made.  Later in life Cory smitten with Chelle D. Cumberback and was blessed with another son (Davair N. Cumberback, 11).

 

Cory Demond Mason, leaves six siblings to mourn his passing (Bismark 29, Stephanie 28, Ashley 27, Rhonda 24, Ronald 22, and Tashaniah 21).

 

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
