Germaine Troy Griffith Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Germaine Troy Griffith, affectionately known as Menna. He was born on 11th August 1974 and transitioned on 7th May 2026. Germaine grew up in Pigotts Village, Antigua, and later resided in the United States.
He is survived by his wife, Anthea Samuels-Griffith; his children, Lesean and Shenyah
Griffith; his mother, Helena Regina Vouzan; and his Stepfather, Austen Vouzan.
He was the beloved brother of Kimsheba Vouzan-Locker, Sandra Vouzan, Sherita
Vouzan, and Auslyn Vouzan-James.
He also leaves behind his nieces, Natavia Vigo, Naryah Vouzan, Najuah Joseph, Ava
James, Nadine & Aniya Hector; and his nephews, Akayden Phillip, Curtis Browne Jr.,
and Legend James.
He is mourned by his aunts, Condon Nedd, Jamaude Barnes, Carol Griffith and
Kathleen Prince; and his uncles, Jeraldo James, Dion James, Foster James, Casroy
James, Eustace ‘Starchy’ Griffith and N-zinga Bambaata.
He was predeceased by his aunts, Delroser Higgins and Josette Rodney; his uncles,
Maurice Thomas and Walwyn James and his father; Eulysses Griffith.
He will also be remembered by his many cousins, including Daryl Thomas, Latoya
Donwell, Shinique and Jerry James, Orville, Ewart, and Conson Nedd, Akeem Barnes,
Corporal Kalil Barnes & Corporal Claudella Athill both of the Royal Police Force of
Antigua & Barbuda, Wakeme and Wakesha Rodney, Rolando and Shequela James,
Julia and Kelvern Higgins, Zeba, Nyjah, Jayzeba and Elijah James, Jashan Hughes,
Desiree Griffith, Kaseim Griffith and many others of the Griffith Family in USA and
Canada.
Germaine was related to the Spencer and James families of Liberta, as well as Troy
Bailey and family. He was also very close to many, including Joseph ‘Kolo’ Warner,
Chef Twos, Chef Alfred, Shimika Morris, the Beazers of Barbuda, and Achia Samuels-
Daniel and their families. He was very close to several families in the Pigotts community, including Dwayne Josiah, Steveroy Samuel (Stu2), Jamal Lyne, Lynette
Roseau and Brian Samuel, to name a few.
He leaves behind a vast network of other family and friends, too numerous to mention. He will be lovingly remembered by the many lives he touched and by all who knew and loved him.
