Tracy Lynette Rose passed away on July 28, 2025. She was born March 24, 1972, in Paterson, New Jersey, to the late Arnita Pearl Rose. She spent the early part of her life in Paterson. Born with challenges that affected her hearing and speech, Tracy nonetheless lit up every room she entered. She quickly became the heart of her neighborhood — everyone knew her and loved her. Once you met Tracy, you never forgot her. Her infectious laughter, sense of humor, and vibrant, outgoing spirit made her the life of the party.

In her later years, Tracy resided in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, where she was lovingly cared for by the Center for Family Support, both as a resident and as a student. Tracy cherished her time there and formed deep bonds with the staff and residents, who became like family to her.

Tracy was predeceased by her mother, Arnita Pearl Rose; her grandmother, Ann Rose; her grandfather, Warren Rose; two aunts, Brenda Rose and Renee Rose; and her sister, Nydia Simone Rose.

She leaves to cherish her memory two loving sisters: Jada Rose and Sheika Rose; her beloved niece, Tronar Newkirk; four devoted aunts: Robin Rose, Penny Rose, Antoinette (Toni) Rose, and Sherry Rose; two uncles: Lorenzo (Lo) Rose and Kenny (Sherry) Rose.

Tracy also leaves behind her special friend, William Jackson; her dedicated group home staff who became her second family; and a host of cousins and lifelong friends.

Her spirit, warmth, and unforgettable smile will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
